The United States had 1,025 drilling rigs in operation at the end of last week – an increase of 19 from the prior week.
Texas gained 8 rigs to end last week with a total of 499 drilling rigs in operation.
The Texas Railroad Commission issued 335 drilling permits last week to bring the 10-week rolling average to 336.
Natural gas prices ended the week at an average of $2.68 per mmbtu.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude prices gained $2.81 last week to average $62.36 per barrel last week.
Gasoline prices across Texas gained $0.01 to end last week at an average of $2.48 per gallon.
